Sacred Heart Volleyball beats Green Ridge

The Sacred Heart Volleyball team traveled to Green Ridge, Tuesday, September 22 to take on conference rivals, the Green Ridge Tigers.

The SHJV beat Green Ridge in two sets 14-25 and 23-25. Their record is now 3-3

Sacred Heart Varsity beat Green Ridge in three sets 13-25, 14-25, 13-25. Senior Hayden Altena had 8 serving aces and Sophomore Emma Siron lead the team in Kills with 11. Kicking it in on defense, Senior Maria Mergen and Junior Kiley Beykirch had 7 digs. Beykirch lead the team in assists.

"While it is easy to recognize the stats leaders each night, none of these stats leaders could do what they do without all 6 players working together to make it happen on the floor. Every play starts with a pass. This brings the Varsity record to 7-4-1 and 3-0 in Conference," said head coach Marlo Siron.

Next game is at Stover on Thursday, Sept. 24.
