Last Friday (May 4), a Skyline Elementary School student was reportedly asked by a stranger if the child wanted a ride home, after the student departed the school bus near Honeysuckle Drive after school.
Statement from Sedalia 200:
The district was made aware today (Monday) that on Friday, May 4, a Skyline Elementary School student was approached by an older white male in a black or silver pickup truck after departing the school bus near Honeysuckle Drive after school; the driver asked the child if they wanted a ride home and the student did not respond but rather ran directly home.
A police report was filed on the incident.
