Pettis County deputies and detectives with the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force excused a narcotics search warrant on December 3 in the 2400 block of Smasal Rd. The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says a large amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and packaging materials were located. Three Sedalia residents - Roderick R. Vose, Karena Heatwole, and Tyrle R. Hice - were arrested on a variety of charges.


A Lincoln man was arrested just before 1 p.m. on December 3 on charges including felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, unlawful use of a firearm, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Jason K. Reel was taken to the Johnson County Jail.


A man from Bates City, considered armed and dangerous, is being sought by authorities. Daniel D. Caswell is wanted on a felony warrant for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Shooting at a Motor Vehicle that was issued after a road rage shooting that occurred in Oak Grove on September 17. Anyone with information on Caswell's whereabouts should contact authorities. The Oak Grove Police Department says Caswell should not be approached.
