A Sedalia man was arrested early on July 30 after deputies were dispatched to the 29000 block of E. Boonville in reference to a physical assault. Dillon Tyler Pachang was taken into custody for second degree domestic assault, introducing contraband into a jail and possession of less than five grams of marijuana. Pachang was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail.


Police arrested a 21-year-old Sedalia man around 2 a.m. on July 28 after they reportedly found drugs and a stolen firearm inside a vehicle. Police say they were investigating a report of shots fired in the area of 16th and Garfield. A vehicle that had been spotted in the area was then checked at Broadway and Arlington, and the driver, a convicted felon who was not allowed to possess a firearm, was arrested after a probable cause search. Jacob Lee Charles Esser was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, pending formal charges from the prosecutor's office.


The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested two Warrensburg residents on July 28 in Polk County. 26-year-old Morgan McGee and 29-year-old Stephen Smith were arrested around 8:30 p.m. McGee was taken to the Polk County Jail on a felony Wright County warrant for possession of  methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and traffic offenses. He was released.


A July 28 traffic stop led to the arrest of a Sedalia man. Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of S. Osage Ave. and W. 5th St. around 1:15 a.m. and say the driver was found to be intoxicated. 23-year-old Keelan M. Miller was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released pending state charges.


On July 28, officers with the Sedalia Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of W. 2nd St. on a report of an intoxicated person who was possibly experiencing mental health issues. After investigating, 42-year-old Alexander Argueta Ulloa was found to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and was taken into protective custody. Police say the suspect was searched and found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.


On July 27, Pettis County Deputies arrested Frances Janet Coutts of Sedalia in the area of US 50 and Hancock for driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.


On July 27, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of S. Limit Ave. for a forgery report. A man and woman in a white Nissan Maxima allegedly paid for a drive-thru order with a fake $100. The suspects had left the restaurant before police arrived, but the manager was able to write down a license plate number. The suspects have not yet been contacted.
