A Sedalia man was arrested around 11:25 p.m. on October 15 after police were dispatched to the emergency room at Bothwell Regional Health Center. Police spoke with a woman receiving medical treatment who said that she'd been assaulted. During the assault, the suspect reportedly prevented the victim from leaving their residence. 37-year-old David Eddie Taylor was taken into custody on charges of first degree domestic assault, and kidnapping facilitating felony or injury. Taylor was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


A Boonville woman was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol around 2:45 p.m. on October 15 on charges including felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several traffic offenses. 44-year-old Catina M. Moore was taken to the Cooper County Jail.


Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office took a stealing complaint on October 15 around 2:30 p.m. A PlayStation 4 was reported stolen from a residence. An investigation is ongoing.


During an accident investigation in the area of Boonville Rd. and N. Maplewood Dr. it was discovered that a female subject, Lydia N. Hays, had a municipal warrant from the City of Sedalia. Hays was placed into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $1,000 cash or surety.
