Sedalia Area Crime Reports for October 19, 2018
A Sedalia man with active felony drug warrants was arrested following a traffic stop around 12:25 p.m. on October 18 at E. Saline and N. Depp Ave. Police say a search of the vehicle was conducted and evidence of drug paraphernalia and controlled substances were recovered. 49-year-old Perry Edwin Bales, Jr. was taken into custody on a variety of charges.
Sedalia Police were dispatched on October 18 around 4:30 p.m. to the area of W. 3rd and Gentry Ave. on a report of a suspicious person. Police made contact with a person matching a description provided by a caller, and say he was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. 42-year-old Timothy Lee Davis was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
A Warrensburg woman was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on October 18 in Benton County. 37-year-old Autumn Christoff was taken to the Benton County Jail on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
A Sedalia woman was arrested just after midnight on October 19 after police reportedly observed her taking items from a dumpster at the Salvation Army in the 600 block of S. Ohio. Police say 52-year-old Janice Angela Marie Bryan had an active Pettis County failure to appear warrant on an original charge of burglary. The suspect was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
