Around 9:00 Wednesday morning (Dec 21), Sedalia Police officers made contact with a suspect at the Sedalia Police station. The suspect had two misdemeanor Pettis County warrants. 22-year old Rodrigo Quetzecua-Marcos was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $300.00 cash bond.

 

Sedalia Police officers took a report of a missing purse Wednesday afternoon (Dec 21). A woman stated that her purse was missing from Big Lots, located at 3125 West Broadway. She had left her purse in a shopping cart. She had already returned home, to a different city, when she noticed it was missing. The purse is described as medium sized, with leopard print. According to the report, there is a driver’s license, a deactivated debit card, insurance card, and $250 cash, inside the purse. There are no suspects at this time.


 

On Wednesday (Dec 21), Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Marcus Hochaday, of Slater, MO, for an active failure-to-appear warrant, out of the City of Sedalia.

Also on Wednesday (Dec 21), deputies took a report of identity theft. The reporting party filed a report, due to her personal information being compromised, through a phone scam.
