Funeral Announcements for July 20, 2026

A Celebration of Life for Lea Etta Christine Shull, 82, of Sedalia will be held at 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, July 20 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
The family of Bertha Elizabeth Hamilton, 100, of Sedalia will receive friends from 12 p.m. Saturday, July 25 with a service to follow at 1 at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Gary Neal Jones, 87, of Sedalia, will be held from 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Crocker Presbyterian Church. Memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. with inurnment to follow in Crocker Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Clinton Estle "Clint" Larsen, 48, of Smithton, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.

The family of Galina Sheremeta, 54, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of life service from 11 a.m. unto 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 at Sedalia Tabernacle - Skiniya Church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Sam L. Branstetter, 81, of Ionia, will announce a celebration of life gathering at a later date. The body was donated to the “anatomical gift of body program” at A.T. Still University, Kirksville. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Michael Leo Schuber, 74, of Sedalia will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, July 20 at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation for Robert D. Hayden, 88, of Sedalia,  will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, at Broadway Presbyterian Church, 209 W. Broadway. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25 at the church. A private burial will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

No services are planned for Harrold Andrew Hunsaker, 66, of Sedalia. He will be laid to rest beside his father at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
