On April 26, Pettis County Deputies investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Little Muddy Road and Little Muddy Lane. A driver was unable to see the intersection due to dense fog and drove through a fence. The driver was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center with non-life threatening injuries.


A 41-year-old Clinton man and a 31-year-old Clinton woman was arrested April 26 by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on charges including possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. The Patrol says Arlis D. Hamp and Emma J. Guthrie was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Both were taken to the Henry County Jail.


Sedalia Police performed a traffic stop on a silver Chevrolet passenger car around 8:40 p.m. on April 24 after an officer recognized the driver and knew him to have a suspended license. Police say 37-year-old Anthony Robert Hill was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Hill was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


Officers responded to the area of W. 7th St. and S. Kentucky Ave. around 5:45 p.m. on April 24 on a report of a stolen vehicle. A caller told police that her vehicle had been stolen from Motel 6 on W. Broadway around 10:30 a.m. The caller had located a person she believed to be a suspect and followed him. Officers located the suspect and later located the vehicle. 31-year-old Justin David Woolery was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.


On April 19, Sedalia Police served a drug-related search warrant in the 1800 block of S. Osage Avenue. A search of the residence revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police say a suspect known to reside at the address had previously been arrested by officers during a subject check, prior to the search warrant being served. State charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia are being sought for the suspect, who was not named in a Sedalia Police Department incident report.


On April 16 police were called to the 3400 block of W. 32nd St. in reference to a hit-and-run accident. An investigation identified a suspect and suspect vehicle. 31-year-old Kimberlee A. Spry was issued a municipal court summons for leaving the scene of an accident.
