Christmas Assistance Signup Deadline is November 20

The Salvation Army Service Center announced their Christmas Assistance signups are being accepted now through Nov. 20 at their location at 1200 East Broadway Blvd., Sedalia.

Applications will be accepted Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., excluding a lunch break from 12 to 12:30. To apply, make sure to bring one form of ID for everyone in the household, proof of income, and proof of address.

Each household will then receive a Christmas meal to make at home and those with children 17 and younger will receive gifts from Toy Town. Distribution of those items will be Dec. 17 - 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. based on your last name.

It is asked that families use only the Christmas Assistance Program or Community Santa, but not both. This offer is available for Pettis County residents only.
