Sedalia Fighters Jailed for Assault

On Sunday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 300 block of West 4th Street in regard to an assault with weapons.

Both subjects accused the other of having attacked first, though both admitted to hitting the other. The subjects were advised that a 12-hour log would be completed and they were told what this meant. Both parties stated they understood.

Officers were called back regarding the same subjects less than an hour later. Both had fresh injuries and both accused the other of causing them using weapons.

Due to officers being called again in less than 12 hours and both parties having fresh injuries, both subjects were arrested.

Christopher John Olmeda, 33, and Corey M Crow, 32, both of Sedalia, were both placed on a 24-hour hold for 2nd degree Domestic Assault.
