Funeral Announcements for August 4, 2026

The family of Virginia Palmer, 99, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Heckart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery.

A celebration of life for David Allen "Gomer" White 77, of Cameron, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia with full military honors provided by the Sedalia VFW Post 2591. There is no visitation scheduled. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donor's Choice.

Prayers of the Rosary for William (Bill) M. Turner, age 75, Sedalia, will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14 at Heckart Funeral Home, where visitation will follow until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at St. Vincent de Paul Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Fork Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Gwendolyn Marie "Gwen" Eppenauer, 86, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at Christ & Trinity Lutheran Church. Family and friends are invited to remain at the church following the service for a luncheon and reception. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
