Funeral Announcements for July 24, 2026

The family of Bertha Elizabeth Hamilton, 100, of Sedalia will receive friends from 12 p.m. Saturday, July 25 with a service to follow at 1 at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Gary Neal Jones, 87, of Sedalia, will be held from 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Crocker Presbyterian Church. Memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. with inurnment to follow in Crocker Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Visitation for Robert D. Hayden, 88, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 24 at Broadway Presbyterian Church, 209 W. Broadway. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25 at the church. A private burial will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Alonzo Monroe "Al" Harris III, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 at New Hope Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Donald Ray Bradley, 92, of Sedalia,  will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 27 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force and the VFW Post #2591. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service begins at the chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia.

A funeral service for Bette Jo Hayden, 72, will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family of Jason Michael Atwood, 57, Green Ridge, will have a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service and burial for Shirley Marie Kindle, 89, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.
