Sedalia Man Arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident

A 24-year-old Sedalia man was arrested around 11 a.m. on January 23 after police responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of E. 4th Street.

Sedalia Police say the suspect, 24-year-old Brandon Lee Motley, was located and arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, two active warrants, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Motley was placed on a 24 hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.
