Sedalia Man Injured after Vehicle Overturns in Boone County

A 65-year old Sedalia man was injured Monday afternoon after a vehicle overturned in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 3:30, on Route E south of Wilcox Road.

According to the online crash report, the driver of a Dodge Ram 1500, Ronald A. Clawson, experienced a medical emergency. The Dodge traveled off the road, collided with an embankment, went airborne, collided with the ground and overturned.

Clawson suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was taken to University Hospital for treatment.

The Dodge was totaled and towed. Clawson was wearing a safety device.
