Sedalia Man Taken to Columbia by Air Ambulance Following Accident
A Sedalia man was seriously injured, and three Lincoln residents were moderately injured, in an accident just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 1998 Ford Taurus, driven by 31-year-old Eugene Sharp, crossed into the southbound lanes of US 65 north of Sacajawea Rd and struck a 2012 Mitsubishi head-on.
Sharp was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by Staff for Life Air Ambulance.
The driver of the the Mitsubishi, 23-year-old Karissa Horst, and two passengers, 24-year-old Loretta Miller and 19-year-old Rhonda Schrock, were taken to Bothwell Regional Healthcare Center by the Pettis County Ambulance District.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
