Funeral Announcements for April 1, 2026

A graveside service and burial for Michael T. Roberts, 68, of Sedalia, formerly of St. Louis, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, with full military honors conducted by the United States Navy. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of life for Lenny Lou Drake, 78, of Sedalia, will be held at a later date in Sedalia, and Shenandoah, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Shane Lee Edwards, 51, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m Friday, April 3 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow immediately after the service.

A celebration of life for Katie Elizabeth Pettis, 41, of Sedalia, will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of William Ernest “Ernie” Hiatt, 78, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.

A private service for Minnie Lena Jett, 85, of Stover,  will be held at a later date at the Stover Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral home in Stover.

A celebration of life for John "Scott" West, 63, of Sedalia, will be announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial services are pending at this time for Sandra Faye Wray, 74, of Warrensburg. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Dennis Leo Knipp, 90, of Pilot Grove, will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 2, at the St. Jospeh Catholic Church in Pilot Grove.  Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday with a Mass of Christian burial to begin at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow with full military honors in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pilot Grove.  Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.
