Sedalia Parks & Rec Updates April Schedule

Due to following the current guidelines regarding Covid-19, the following events have been rescheduled or cancelled.

Registered participants who have questions can call our office at (660) 826-4930.

 Adult Spring Volleyball – league has been cancelled; team captains will be notified.

 Adult Summer Softball - league registration continues until April 17. League start will be delayed until June.

 Dance with Grace/Tumbling – April classes are cancelled.

 Pickleball – April classes are cancelled. Tentatively resumes May 4.

 Pound – April classes are cancelled. Tentatively resumes May 4.

 Shelter Rentals – rentals cancelled through April 30.

 Sit & Fit – April classes are cancelled. Tentatively resumes May 7.

 Superhero Party – rescheduled to August 7.

 Tiny Tots Play Park – will not meet the rest of the season. Resumes in September.

 Youth Baseball – we plan to start practices May 4; more details TBA.

Continue to view the Parks & Rec website and Facebook pages for updates. They also send out updates through their Textcaster service. Parks & Rec hopes to bring Sedalians a lot of fun activities once the restrictions are lifted.

And on April 1, Sedalia Parks & Rec announced that the April meeting of the Park Board has been canceled.

"Due to Covid-19 precautions, and with no critical items that require a vote in April, the April meeting will not be held.  The next Park Board meeting will be May 7," a press release said.
