
Pickleball Classes Offered by Sedalia Parks & Rec
Sedalia Parks and Recreation will be hosting a series of Pickleball classes for varying levels of experience at the Heckart Community Center, 1800 West 3rd Street.
Each class is open to players ages 18 and up and has limited space.
The crash course will be on October 4th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for $10 per person. This class will teach paddle grip, court positioning, basic shots, and more.
The beginner course will be every Monday and Thursday starting from October 6th, excluding the week of October 13th, for 6 weeks. The class will run from 9 – 10 a.m. in the Convention Hall, and will cost $50 per person.
The intermediate course will be every Monday and Thursday starting from October 6th for 6 weeks. It will be in session from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Convention Hall, and will cost $75 per person.

There will also be open play available Monday through Friday from 12 – 3 p.m. and Monday evenings from 6 – 8 p.m. All ages are welcome to open play, but players ages 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
