On January 17, Pettis County Deputies arrested Lisa M. Fisher of Lincoln on an outstanding Benton County warrant for failure to appear.

On January 16, Pettis County Deputies took a property damage report in the 200 block of Moore St. in Hughesville. A mailbox was damaged.

On January 16, Hunly Fred was arrested in the 400 block of S. Walnut Street in LaMonte. Charges of peace disturbance, resisting arrest, assault on law enforcement and bribery of a public servant are pending. Fred was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

At 6:02 p.m. on January 16, Sedalia officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of W. 10th Street to respond to a physical disturbance. Police say that a man reported that 48-year-old John Stansbury pushed him and threatened to kill him. Stansbury was arrested for fourth degree domestic assault and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

At approximately 11:03 p.m. on January 16, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of S. Grand Ave. for a domestic assault. The victim told police he'd been in an argument with the suspect for a couple of hours, and that she smacked him and flicked cigarette ashes into his eyes. 48-year-old Joyce VanHook was arrested for fourth degree domestic assault. VanHook reportedly told officers that she needed to go to jail "because I assaulted him." She was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

At 7:42 p.m. on January 14, a traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of S. Wagner Ave. and E. 9th Street. Police say that the owner/driver of a 2000 Mercury had forged license plates on the vehicle. 48-year-old Niko Wooldridge of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of charges for forgery, no vehicle registration, no insurance, and operating a vehicle without a valid license.

Sedalia Police were called to Walmart at 5:23 p.m. on January 12 in reference to a shoplifter. Police were told that a man attempted to leave the store without paying for a pair of coveralls. The man reportedly dropped the stolen merchandise and fled from the store when he was stopped by store employees. It was discovered that the suspect had damaged the security tag on the item. Officers eventually located the suspect, identified as Walter C. Rogers. He was issued a municipal summons for shoplifting and property damage.
