The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, March 13, 2015.

Pettis County Deputies had a short vehicle pursuit that ended in the area of Highway 50, near Seller Road last night. The driver/suspect fled from the vehicle and has not been found at the time of the news update.

An employee of Sedalia Automotive reported to Sedalia Police that he rented a vehicle on Feb 12 and it was to be returned on Feb. 16. The vehicle has not returned and is considered stolen.

An employee of Rick Ball Ford reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole four wheel cap covers, valued at $64 and also a wheel assembly was damaged, valued at $585 on March 8.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his motorcycle plate, while his motorcycle was parked at the west end of the Thompson Hills Shopping Center, between 6 and 7 p.m. on March 11.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a burglary, not in progress that happened in the 3800 Block of Highway Y on March 9 or 10th.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a case of identity theft. A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone made a $500 unauthorized purchase on her checking account.

Sedalia police received a report that there was identity theft that done and discovered when a victim was doing his IRS return.

Yesterday morning (March 12), Sedalia Police did a traffic stop on a vehicle that had improper registration. Sedalia Police discovered the stickers on the license plates were not on the correct plates and were seized.

Sedalia Police arrested Alvin Brown for trespassing, bond set at $283.

Sedalia Police arrested Shane Roberts for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Jason Untiedt for domestic assault 3rd.
