Sedalia Police Investigating a Possible Case of Kidnapping

Sedalia Police is investigating a case of possible parental kidnapping, domestic assault in the 3rd and kidnapping in the 800 Block of South Limit.

Several Thefts Reported

Lemaire's Cajun Catfish reported to Sedalia Police that there was a case of forgery and fraud as a check was written to them was signed by an unauthorized subject.

A man in the 100 Block of East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that his 26" silver Mongoose mountain bike valued at $800 was stolen on June 9.

A man in the 3100 Block of Brooking Park Avenue reported to Pettis County Deputies that a glass screen door valued at $300 was damaged on June 10.

A man in the 300 Block of East Morgan reported to Sedalia Police that his front door frame was damaged between 3 p.m. on on June 9 and 1:30 a.m. on June 10.

A man in the 4100 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that $50 in cash was stolen from his wallet in his car last night.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that somebody stole some items in the 200 Block of Carlene Drive between May 10 and June 10.

A woman in the 4200 Block of Main Street reported that she was assaulted yesterday (June 10) by a subject known to her.

A woman in the 1400 Block of South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that she was a victim in a hit-and-run accident. The woman believes that her car was struck in the parking lot of Hardee's between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on June 6. The car sustained minor damage to the driver's side door.

Sedalia Police received a report that an 11-year-old girl found a gun north of the railroad tracks near Engineer.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Alexander Bradley for a parole violation, no bond set, and a Pettis County warrant for driving while revoked, bond set at $7,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Baez for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety; and a parole violation, no bond set.

Sedalia Police arrested Douglas Redinger for having four counts of passing bad checks, bond set at $2,500 surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Crystal Millar for trespassing in the 1st degree and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $135 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Jeffrey Jones for a Pettis County failure to appear, bond set at $106.50

Sedalia Police arrested Jimmie Sanders for driving while suspended.
