The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Fight at Centennial Park

Last night (Sept. 9) at 8:42, Sedalia Police went to Centennial Park at South New York and East 24th on a report of a fight with weapons. Witnesses said that there were two subjects fighting and one sustained injuries. Witnesses reported to Sedalia Police that the subjects left the park and there were two gun shots or fireworks heard from the suspect vehicle.

Sedalia Police Involved in a Chase

Last night (Sept. 9) at 10:45, Sedalia Police were on patrol in the area of West 10th and South Quincy and saw a man riding a bicycle without a headlight and stopped the subject. As Sedalia Police exited the car, the person fled on bike and then went on foot and evaded law enforcement. The subject is known and state charges of felony resisting arrest are being requested.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

Pettis County Deputies took a report from a victim in the 3000 Block of of Brooking Park, that someone stole a firearm from the residence between Sept. 7 and 9.

A man in the 900 Block of South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke a window in the neighborhood yesterday (Sept. 9).

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested John Watring for having two Camden County warrants, bond set at $1,000 cash/surety and $9,000 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Lemaire for having a warrant, bond set at $200 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Heather Lestage for failure to appear, bond set at $147.50 cash.
