Sedalia Police Investigate A Reported Case of Sexual Assault

Last night (Sept. 12), Sedalia Police received a report from a man who said he was sexually assaulted a year ago by a subject known to him. Sedalia Police are investigating the assault.

Several Firearms Stolen in Sedalia

A man in the 400 Block of East 17th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole four firearms from his home between Feb. 8 and Sept. 11.

A man in the 1500 Block of South Harrison reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a 9 mm Hi-Point Pistol yesterday afternoon (Sept. 12), between noon and 3:48.

Several Thefts Reported in Area

A man in the 1800 Block of South Ingram reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole Fentanyl from a patient between 4 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 8:40 a.m. on Sept. 12.

A man in the 1000 Block of Sue Lane reported to Sedalia Police that someone may have siphoned gas from his car. The man put 15 gallons of fuel into his car on Tuesday and it was empty on Thursday. The man said he had not driven the vehicle since filling up on Tuesday.

A man in the 100 Block of West 14th reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged his vehicle by placing an unknown white substance into the fuel tank of his vehicle between 5 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 6 p.m. on Sept. 12.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Bike Accident

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he was hit by a bike on the Missouri State Fairgrounds yesterday afternoon (Sept. 12). The victim had cuts on his palm from falling to the ground.

Three Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Troy Daye and Timothy McCoy for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Gary Evans on an active Pettis County warrant.
