The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, August 18, 2015.

Sedalia Police received a report of a juvenile girl who attempted to steal several items from Walmart on August 15. The Walmart Loss Prevention Team caught her and found through talking to her that she may have been abused at home. Sedalia Police are investigating the report.

Sedalia Police received a report of someone colliding with the chainlink fence at the 'Old School House' in the 3200 Block of East Broadway. A large portion of the fence was knocked down on the night of August 13 or morning of the 14.

An employee of Family Pawn reported to Sedalia Police someone attempted to break into the business.

A man reported to Sedalia Police someone had stolen a backpack of school books, a wallet and id from his vehicle in the 300 Block of Scott Joplin Court.

Sedalia Police arrested Nicholas Smith for failure to appear-no operators license and a Pettis County warrant for three counts of forgery, bond set at $7.588.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Erica Osburn for two warrants out of Pettis County for child neglect, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Pirtle for failure to appear, bond set at $50 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Crystal Millard for an active warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Millisa Schultz of Knob Noster for stealing a pair of reading glasses and damaging an item at Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Boris Brenich for careless and imprudent driving-alcohol related.
