Pettis County Deputies Arrest Suspect In Child Molestation Case

Pettis County Deputies arrested 52-year-old Robert Neighbors following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a seven-year-old white female. Neighbors was later charged with two counts of child molestation in the 1st degree, with a prior conviction. Neighbors is being held in the Pettis County Jail on a $600,000 bond.

Sedalia Police Investigate Two Cases of Property Damage

Employees at Antioch Fellowship, at 507 West 24th, reported to Sedalia Police that sometime between Dec. 12 and 14, somebody poured oil onto 216 chairs in the building.
Employees of WILS at 1800 West Main reported to Sedalia Police that somebody ran into the building over the weekend.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 1700 Block of South Prospect reported to Sedalia Police that a Vizio flat screen TV, coin purse with 30 Euros and several pieces of clothing and jewelry were stolen over the weekend.

A woman in the 900 Block of Olsen Road reported to Sedalia Police that several items were missing from her home.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Kerri Gray for stealing, having a Lafayette County warrant, parole violation and assault, bond set at $10,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Alexander Knipp for domestic assault in the 3rd, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Anthony Norton for two failure to appear charges and a probation & parole violation.

Sedalia Police arrested Scovern Norris for a probation violation and probation warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Tammy Despain for trespassing in the 1st and having a Pettis County warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Eric Barnes for two failure to appear charges.

Sedalia Police arrested Brande Smith for a parole violation.
