Sedalia Police are investigating a forgery case where a suspect was allegedly duplicating and selling tickets for Rock Fest. A Sedalia Police Department incident report says the suspect, who was not named, admitted to the accusations and provided information to help locate victims. Police say not all of the victims have been contacted at this time.


A Sedalia woman was arrested on April 24 on an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. 56-year-old Brenda L. Frame was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail after being taken into custody in the 900 block of E. 13th Street. Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.


Police were dispatched on April 23 to the 300 block of W. 7th St. for a report of property damage. Upon arrival, officers were told by two victims that a suspect was in a vehicle doing burn outs in a gravel parking lot. The truck reportedly threw rocks that caused visible injuries to one victim, and an estimated $1,000 worth of damage to another victim's vehicle. 47-year-old Terry R. Johnson of Sedalia was placed under arrest for property damage and careless and imprudent driving.


On April 24, Pettis County Deputies responded to the 30000 block of Ball Rd. in reference to a reported burglary. A caller told the Sheriff's Office that while she was at work, someone came into her residence and stole several items. The investigation is ongoing.


 

A Sedalia woman was taken to the Lafayette County Jail April 24 by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 28-year-old Brittany Perkins was taken into custody on a felony Pettis County warrant for driving while revoked and a misdemeanor Pettis County warrant for domestic assault, according to The Patrol.
