A 27-year-old Sedalia man was arrested on October 24 after police responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of W. 11th Street. Police say a man and a woman at the address both had minor injuries. The man, William Joseph Parsons, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant for a traffic violations. A search during the arrest led to the discovery of a marijuana pipe, and police reportedly found marijuana, another pipe and paper rollers during a search of the house. Parsons was taken to the Pettis County Jail and booked on the warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.


Police say they arrested a man in possession of a syringe containing methamphetamine when they responded to a disturbance October 24 in the 1800 block of S. Barrett. 35-year-old Darren Allen Pullen was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold while charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia are being submitted.


Police were dispatched October 24 to the 2300 block of Kay Ave. where they took a theft report. The victim told police that sometime around 5:15 a.m. someone broke out the driver side window on his SUV and rummaged thorugh it. Police later found that vehciles parked across the street had also been rummaged through, and the driver side window of the second window had also been busted out.


Two guns, a knife, and a small amount of cash were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2400 block of Killion Ave. The victim told police that sometime between 11 p.m. on Sunday and 11 a.m. on Monday, someone entered a locked vehicle through the driver's side window. Police have no suspects at this time.


Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office arrested Robert A. Modrall in the 48-- block of S. Limit Ave. for an active warrant from the Sedalia Police Department on October 25.
