Yesterday morning, Sedalia Police went to the 300 Block of West 32nd in reference to a property damage report. A woman reported that her neighbors caught her yard on fire by shooting fireworks on July 19. The victim said Sedalia Fire Department responded that day and put the fire out. There was also damage done to a couple of trees on the property.

Family Pawn at 2805 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that a male subject cut through their fenced in storage area and took a yellow PW50 Suzuki mini motorcycle on July 23 between 4:20 and 4:40 a.m. There was $150 in damages to the fence and the motorcycle is valued at $400. In a separate case, Family Pawn also reported that someone tried to pawn a gun that was found to be stolen out of Benton County.

Sedalia Police went to Sonic at 300 West Broadway in reference to a counterfeit $50 bill. The complainant reported that the suspect left the area while an employee with Sonic came to check on the validity of the bill.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her license plates were stolen on April 20.

A woman in the 3500 Block of South Grand Avenue reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone forced entry into her residence and stole property.

Pettis County Deputies made contact with Amber Nicole Bass at the Pettis County Courthouse and arrested her for having two warrants.

Sedalia Police arrested Derick Schriener for driving while suspended.
