Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: Morning of August 7

Pettis County Deputies responded to assist Sedalia Police at Katy Park for a subject that was armed with a knife. 19-year old Josh Lee of Sedalia was taken into custody after a Taser deployment while assisting Sedalia Police.

A victim reported to their health care provider that they were sexually assaulted over an eight to ten year period. The suspect is known and Sedalia Police is investigating.

Yesterday morning at 9:21, Sedalia Police went to the 1100 Block of South Kentucky for a report of theft. A riding lawn mower had been stolen from his garage between August 3 and 6.

A man in the 300 Block of East 17^th reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into his storage unit and stole a Kobalt tool set valued at $200 between August 4 and 6.

Pettis County Deputies received reports that he has received harassing telephone calls to his personal cellular phone.
