The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's reports are from the morning of Wednesday, June 5, 2013.

Sedalia Police Investigating Fraud

Sedalia Police received a report of fraud from a victim in the 200 Block of West 2nd after they had received a check for $995 in the mail and were told if they did everything requested that they would receive a check.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 400 Block of East 7th reported to Sedalia Police that a CD player, amp and subwoofer valued at $900 were stolen between 8 p.m. on June 2 and 6 a.m. on June 3.

A man in the 1300 Block of South Warren reported to Sedalia Police that a white plastic lion statue valued at $150 was stolen from his backyard between June 1 and 3.

A woman in the 3100 Block of Brianna Boulevard reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her apartment and stole a television, Wii game system, five games, three controllers and a Kindle Fire.

A woman in the 500 Block of South Lafayette reported to Sedalia Police that two cell phones were stolen on June 3.

A woman in the 2300 Block of West 5th reported to Sedalia Police that her 20" Freestyle No Rules bike was stolen between 10 p.m. on June 1 and 3 p.m. on June 2.

A woman in the 2900 Block of Deer Ridge Road reported to Sedalia Police that her purse was stolen while shopping.

Pettis County Deputies took a report from the 19000 Block of Butterbaugh Ford Road that somebody stole a John Deere Tiller, four steel wheels and a hammer mill steel screen yesterday.

A woman in the 700 Block of McVey Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that her home had been burglarized and the suspects stole money, jewelry and 200 DVDs between May 30 and June 3.

A woman in the 1600 Block of South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into the house, but did not appear to steal anything.

Pettis County Deputies Investigating An Assault

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an assault in the 1400 Block of Elm Hills Boulevard.

Property Damage Reported to Law Enforcement

A man in the 400 Block of East 14th reported to Sedalia Police that he was the victim in a hit-and-run accident at his home. There was minor damage to the rear passenger side bumper, quarter panel and tail light.

Pettis County Deputies found Pettis County property had been damaged in the front of the Pettis County Sheriff's Office on the night of June 4.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Iva Boslaugh for 2 cases of child endangerment, resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer and property damage.

Sedalia Police arrested Kimberly Volk for failure to appear for child neglect, bond set at $1,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Rachael Campbell for four charges of failure to appear, bond set at $250 cash only.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Trevor Leary for a probation violation.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Robert Stevenson for having an active warrant for his arrest.
