Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: Morning of May 7, 2013

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

Sedalia Automotive at 2101 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that four tires and wheels were taken off a black 2002 Kia Sportage on the lot and the vehicle was found sitting on four concrete blocks yesterday afternoon (May 6).

Walton Real Estate reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke the window in the front door. The damage was done by two rocks thrown threw the door between noon on May 4 and 8:16 a.m. yesterday.

A woman on Yeater Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that some items were stolen out of her garage sometime since May 3.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Richard Batzel for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety. Batzel was also found to have another warrant, bond set at $116.50 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Kenna Stout for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Katherine Smith for having an outstanding Pettis County warrant for passing a bad check.
