Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Crime Reports: Morning of July 4, 2013

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's reports are from the morning of Thursday, July 4, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 1400 Block of East 6th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole four weed-eaters from his shed valued at $400 on June 30 between 7 and 8:40 p.m.

A man in the 1500 Block of South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into the home and stole some items between July 1 and 3.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his iPad was stolen from his car while at Walmart on July 3.

A woman in the 1100 Block of East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a license plate off her car sometime since June 1.

A woman in the 400 Block of Albright Court reported to Sedalia Police that she was assaulted by a subject known to her on June 30.

Sedalia Police went to the 700 Block of East 11th as a mail carrier requested someone to check on the well being of a dog. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Carla Meek for driving while revoked and driving while suspended, bond set at $435.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Lisa Knifong for stealing from Walmart, bond set at $533.50.
