Sedalia Police Sting Unit arrests a 52-year-old woman on drug charges

This morning, the Sedalia Police Department’s Sting Unit served a search warrant for methamphetamine at 1108 South Sneed. The police department press release states officers found
methamphetamine, as well as distribution items like a digital scales and drug packaging material. The owner of the home, 52-year-old Nancy B. Crafton, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Pettis County Jail. The press release also says charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing a controlled substance with-in 2000 feet of a school and distribution of a controlled substance with-in 2000 feet of a school are being sought in the case. The Sting Unit wishes to thank the citizens of Sedalia for their continued support and tips in drug related cases.

 

Sedalia man arrested Monday night on drug related charges

Just after 9 o’clock Monday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 16th and Montgomery for a non-functioning license plate light. Upon contact with the driver, Tyler Dake of Sedalia, the officer reported he smelled the odor of marijuana, A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed Dake was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. At the time of the police report, Dake was in the Pettis County Jail pending
bonds totaling $1063.

 

Window A/C stolen from rental property in the 1100 block of East 5th

On Monday, a victim reported a Window air conditioner was stolen from rental property they owned in the 1100 block of East 5th. There was no value placed on the unit and no suspect information was available.

 

Refrigerator stolen from rental property on East 7th

On Saturday a victim reported a refrigerator had been stolen from his rental property located in the 1000 block of East 7th.  Value of the refrigerator was placed at $400. There were no suspect.
