The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of May 20, 2013.

Sedalia man arrested on a Benton County Warrant Saturday morning

Just before 1:00 Saturday morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Ingram with a driver with a Benton County Warrant. Following confirmation, officers arrested 30-year-old Thomas Martinez and transported him to the Pettis County Jail pending a $40,000 cash only bond.

Traffic stop results in arrest for driving while suspended and active warrant

Around 11:00 Saturday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 14th and Kentucky for no brake lights. A subsequent check on the driver, 27-year-old Laura Knop of Sedalia, revealed that she was suspended and also had an active warrant out of Pettis County. At the time of the police report, Knop was in the Pettis County Jail pending a total bond of $3033.50.

Warrant check on East Broadway nets a 41-year-old suspect

At 6:50 Sunday evening, Sedalia police conducted a warrant check on a residence in the 400 block of East Broadway. Upon confirmation of the warrant, officers arrested 41-year-old Dennis O’Bryan of the residence and took him to the Pettis County jail pending a $2500 bond.

36-year-old female suspect arrested on three active warrants

Just after 8:00 Friday morning, during an investigation into a civil issue in the 400 block of East 6th, Sedalia police arrested 36-year-old Teasa Kerney of Sedalia on three active warrants. At the time of the police report, Kerney was in the Pettis County Jail pending total bonds of $708.50 on the warrants.

Hughesville man arrested on Municipal warrants Sunday morning

At 12:09 Sunday morning, Sedalia police arrested 29-year-old Jason Busker of Hughesville. According to the police report, Busker had two active Municipal warrants for driving while revoked. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $338.50 cash only bond.

Syracuse man arrested Sunday morning for driving while revoked

Around 4:00 Sunday morning, Sedalia police arrested 43-year-old Arthur Thompson of Syracuse for driving while revoked. Thompson was transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $533.50 bond.

32-year-old Sedalia man arrested on a Cass County Warrant

At 6:37 Saturday evening, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle with a driver with a Cass County Warrant and who was also a suspended driver. Arrested at the scene was 32-year-old Tim Dieker of Sedalia. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a court date, and a $250 cash only bond.

Vehicle theft reported Friday morning

Friday morning, a female victim reported her 1997 Ford was stolen from in front of her home in the 700 block of East 6th. The theft reportedly took place earlier that same morning. The license number on the vehicle is SJOX8K and expires in 2014. There were no suspects at news time.

Victims report their roommate is possibly the suspect in thefts

Around 9:00 Saturday night, Sedalia police took a theft complaint in the 300 block of North Engineer from two victims. According to the victims, a roommate is the possible suspect in the case. One of the victims reported $50 and some Xanax was taken from her, and the other victim said $30 was missing. The suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.

Police impersonator is being sought by Sedalia police

Just before 2:00 Saturday morning, Sedalia police were advised that a suspect was impersonating a police officer at the Walmart store. The suspect had left prior to the officer’s arrival.
