Here are your Sedalia Police Crime Reports for October 8, 2012.

 

Vicious dog taken to the shelter on Thursday

On Thursday afternoon, Sedalia police investigated a report of a vicious dog in the 100 block of East Walnut. According to a female victim, the dog attacked her, causing her to climb into the bed of a pickup where she had a shovel to defend herself. The police report also states the dog bit a” dog sitter” when he tried to restrain it. Officers captured the dog and took it to the shelter for quarantine.

 

Two Casey’s Stores report gas drive offs

Between the hours of 11 and 11:46 p.m. on Sunday, Sedalia police investigated two gas drive off reports at local Casey’s Stores. The drive offs took place at the Casey’s Stores located at 716 West 16th and 1601 East Broadway. Thieves pumped just over $55 in gas in each incident before leaving without paying.
