The following Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Nov. 20, 2013.

Sedalia woman arrested on three warrants

At 11:53 Tuesday morning, Sedalia police performed a traffic stop at Main and Grand for a non-functioning brake light. A subsequent computer check on the driver, 26-year-old Deanna Hayes of Sedalia, revealed she had two Pettis County warrants and one Sedalia municipal warrant. At the time of the police report, Hayes was in the Pettis County jail pending a total of $1642.50 in bonds.

Springfield woman injured in a Henry County accident Sunday evening

Around 5:30 Sunday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on County Road Northwest 350 a mile East of Route “O” in Henry County. According to the report, the accident occurred as the 2001 Jeep driven by 19-year-old Kristen Secrest of Springfield, Mo. went off the left side of the roadway, returned to the roadway and overturned, ejecting Secrest who was not wearing a seatbelt. Secrest suffered serious injuries in the accident and was flown to Research Hospital by Life Flight Eagle for treatment.
