Sedalia Police reports 1-30-19

Sedalia Police took a theft report on Monday from a man who said his 1980 Chevy pickup was taken from behind 410 N. Grand. According to the report, the truck had no transmission.


 

On Monday evening, Sedalia Police went to WalMart on a subject check, and later located him at Broadway and Industrial, where a traffic stop was conducted. A computer check revealed that 29-year-old Brett Ryan Lyles of Sedalia was driving while suspended. He was issued a citation and released.


 

A manager at W & M Welding, 202 Industrial Drive, reported a burglary at the business on Monday. According to the report, the business was entered overnight and several tools were stolen. In addition, the suspects left the area in a vehicle belonging to W & M, breaking through a gate to escape from the fenced lot. Security video is being reviewed of the incident. The two suspects have not yet been identified.


 

Sedalia Police responded to Studio Vogue, 313 S. Ohio, at 11:07 a.m. Monday on a disturbance. According to a report, a man entered the business, went into the restroom and came out barely clothed. A computer check of the man, 40-year-old Erik Mathew Elkins, revealed he was wanted on a Moniteau County warrant for a traffic violation. Elkins was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $275 cash bond. He now has a March 12 court date.


 

On Jan. 22, a Sedalia man reported fraudulent charges on his debit card that occurred Jan. 14-18. The suspect is known to the victim.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 26-year-old Shea T. Archibeque of Sedalia after responding to an assault report in the 700 block of W. 11th Monday around noon. Archibeque was wanted on a Warrensburg warrant. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $450 cash or surety bond. He now has a Feb. 26 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old David Sparks at 205 Thompson Road on a no-bond probation violation Monday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 29-year-old Gary Lee Barrows of Sedalia after conducting a warrant check in the 900 block of S. Ohio Monday morning. Barrows was wanted on a no-bond Probation and Parole warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Dodge pickup with no plates Monday just before 7:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of S. Missouri. 63-year-old Joseph Frederick Jones of Sedalia was found to be driving while revoked. Jones was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

The Missouri State highway Patrol arrested 49-year-old Jason M. Sedlock of Clinton in Henry County at 1:26 p.m. Tuesday. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. Sedlock was taken to the Henry County Jail for processing.
