Sedalia Police Crime Reports for January 3, 2019
On Wednesday morning just before 10 a.m., Sedalia Police took a report at Dollar General, 4215 E. Broadway. According to the report, the complainant found a small baggie of suspected drugs on the floor in front of the registers.
On Wednesday just after 10 p.m. a woman reported that between 6:30 and 10:15 a.m. Jan. 2, someone entered the property and stole a blue 2004 Ford F-350 "Dually" with license O7A-8ZD in the 2200 block of W. 4th. The vehicle has a "watch for motorcycles" sticker on the tailgate, and a chrome brush guard on the front, with yellow fog lights.
On Wednesday, a man found a bicycle in the alley behind his residence in the 500 block of W. 3rd. The found property was placed in the SPD's bike shed.
Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old James Isaiah Smith of Osceola on a St. Francois County warrant on Wednesday morning at the SPD, 201 W. 2nd.
