On Sunday just after 10 p.m., a disturbance was reported at McDonald's, 1611 South Limit. According to a report, a 17-year-old female was fighting with an 18-year-old male. The male's mother showed up & punched the female in the head several times, then choked her. The suspect then left the scene and was not located. The victim had neck injuries, but refused medical treatment.


On Friday around 12 a.m., Sedalia Police were called to the 2700 block of South Woodland Drive, after the caller said her daughter's boyfriend was trying to kick in the door. He was told to leave, but refused. 33-year-old Charles Troy Shaver of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. He was charged with trespassing.


On Thursday, Sedalia Police arrested 50-year-old Michael Shawn Hunt of Sedalia in the 900 block of South Osage. He was wanted on a felony warrant out of Crawford County. Hunt was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


On Saturday, Sedalia Police arrested 23-year-old Caleb Paul Bartlett in the 1100 block of East 9th on an FTA warrant. Bartlett was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 4100 cash bond.


A woman reported a hit-and-run that occurred as she was exiting the Sedalia Walmart, 3201 W. Broadway, on Saturday just before 5 p.m. According to the report, she was rear-ended by the other vehicle, which then turned around and left the area between Panera's and JC Penney.


On Saturday, a woman reported the theft of three rings, a US Bank debit card and spare keys to her vehicle in the 200 block of South Prospect.


Also on June 24, Nathan Wilcox was arrested by deputies in the 300 block of East Smith in Smithton and charged with 4th degree domestic assault.
