Sedalia Police arrested 32-year-old Brennan L. Lomax on Sunday after he reportedly was seen burning boxes beside his house in the 800 block of South Vermont. A computer check of the man revealed he was wanted on a Municipal warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $60 cash bond. He now has a July 17 court date.
18-year-old Jacob Michael Burgher of Sedalia was charged with felony 1st degree property damage on June 2.
18-year-old Shaun A. Sims of Sedalia was arrested at 5:32 a.m. at State Fair Blvd., and Broadway June 2 on two Pettis County FTA warrants. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with two bonds of $60 each. He has a July 3 court date.
18-year-old Dylan J. Nelson was arrested during a vehicle check at 3rd and Park on May 31. He was wanted on two Pettis County warrants. Nelson was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $160 cash bond.
Sedalia Police arrested 62-year-old David Charles Fields of Council Bluffs, Iowa, on June 2 shortly before midnight near 32nd and Limit. Police received a report of a driver rising up on the curb and driving very slowly on the highway. Fields was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a DWI charge.
Sedalia Police arrested 35-year-old Stephanie Danielle Curry on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense Saturday in the 1000 block of W. 4th. Her bond was $60. She now has a June 19 court date.
On June 2, a woman turned in a suspected counterfeit $100 bill she said she found in the parking lot at 3811 W. Broadway. The bill was placed into evidence.
Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle with an expired temp tag at 4th and Harrison on June 2. The driver, 22-year-old Nadelene Meseky, was found to be driving while suspended. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released with a July 10 court date.
On June 2, a man found four cell phones in his yard while mowing his grass in the 2900 block of Daryl Drive. The phones were placed into found property.
WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway, reported two females walked out of the store without paying for $48.13 of merchandise.
Sedalia Police arrested Arthur Otto Stanley, Jr., on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offfense on June 2 in the 2100 block of S. Warren. His bond was $60. He now has a June 19 court date.
68-year-old Joseph W. Andrew of Sedalia was arrested for DWI at 7th and Emmet on June 1. Andrew was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
38-year-old Jesus Cano Gonzalez was arrested for driving while revoked during a traffic stop at 4th and Center on June 2. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
Sedalia Police arrested 34-year-old Brandon Eugene McGee of Sedalia at 16th and Washington during a car stop. He was one of the passengers in the car. McGee was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for no proof of insurance. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond.
A man reported the rear window of his 2015 Chevy pickup was damaged in the 1200 block of W. 3rd on June 1. The incident, which caused $900 of damage, occurred between 4:30 p.m. May 31 and 10:30 a.m. June 1.
On May 31, Sedalia Police took a report of property damage at 500 E. 11th. According to a report, the front doors were forced open, and locks were damaged. Total amount of damage was estimated at $610.
On May 31, a man reported both plates were stolen from his 2014 Jeep Patriot, which was parked in front of his residence in the 900 block of Royal.
On May 31, a man reported both plates were stolen from his truck in the 900 block of Sylvia Drive. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. May 30 and 10 a.m. May 31.
On May 30, a man reported the theft of tools from his work truck, which was parked outside his residence in the 700 block of Prestwick Farms Road.
