Sedalia Police crime reports 11-23-18

Sedalia Police arrested 55-year-old Dennis L. Dotson of Sedalia after an officer on patrol spotted a suspicious subject at Engineer and Saline Thursday at 7:11 a.m. A computer check revealed that Dotson was wanted on a felony probation violation. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of W. 11th on Thursday at 5:50 p.m. According to a report, one of the subjects was in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. 51-year-old Marlenna D. Lange was taken to the Pettis County Jail. Her court date was to be announced.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop pn a truck northbound on Limit at Heck Avenue on Wednesday. A computer check revealed that the driver, 55-year-old Ronald J. Hillig of Pettis County, was driving while revoked. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released.


 

A woman reported that a window at her residence was broken into in the 300 block of W. 7th early Thursday morning. Nothing was taken, according to the report.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for improper registration in the 2900 block of W. Broadway at 12:50 a.m. Thursday. It was discovered that the vehicle had 2020 tabs on it that didn't belong. The registration was actually expired on that vehicle. 37-year-old Jerimiah Z. Clark of Sedalia, was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a charge of forgery. He was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a gold Chevy SUV for no front plate at 16th and Thompson at 4:11 p.m. Thursday. 20-year-old Jacob Daniel Eaton of Sedalia was wanted on a Municipal warrant for minor in possession of alcohol. Eaton was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash or surety bond. He now has a Dec. 12 court date.
