Sedalia Police crime reports 10-9-18
U-Haul reported a van that was stolen out of Independence on Sept. 7. Sedalia Police Officer Connor located the van at 1:08 a.m. Monday on the WalMart parking lot, 3201 W. Broadway. The van was towed from WalMart at the request of U-Haul, the report said.
On Saturday at 5 p.m., the Sedalia Police Department located a Crown Victoria that was reported stolen out of Marshall County, Mississippi. The vehicle was located near a boat ramp at Spring Fork Lake. Don's Towing was called to transported the car to the SPD's lot.
On Sunday at 6:46 p.m., Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Bobby Joe Moore of Sedalia after officers were called to the area of 10th and Massachusetts on a domestic disturbance call. Moore had already left the scene upon officers' arrival, but was later located and taken into custody. A computer check revealed that Moore was wanted on a Municipal FTA warrant. He was also driving while suspended and also charged with 3rd degree felony domestic assault. Moore was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
