Sedalia Police reports 9-4-19

Sedalia Police arrested 38-year-old Bryan L. Barlow of Sedalia after he allegedly struck six vehicles in the parking lot at 900 Westwood around 3 a.m. Monday. His car, which was empty, was found badly damaged in the area. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.


 

Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance with a weapon on Sunday at 12 a.m. at 2401 South Grand. According to a report, the victim said the suspect pointed a black revolver towards her face, then left the area in a vehicle. The victim identified the suspect, but was not located. Charges are being submitted for unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.


 

34-year-old Nichole Chere Paxton of Sedalia was issued a summons for failure to comply with demands to exit a vehicle for a vehicle search at Broadway and Grand Saturday night just after 9 p.m. She was an occupant in the vehicle during a traffic stop. She was charged with failure to obey a lawful order. She now has an Oct. 2 court date.


 

Walmart, 3201 W. Broadway, reported a theft on Aug. 31. Video footage shows a white Ford Crown Victoria containing $181.17 in unpaid merchandise leaving the store with out paying.


 

On Sept. 1, a man reported the pexiglass window on his detached garage was broken in the 300 block of E. Chestnut.
