Around 3:30 in the afternoon on March 14, Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart at 3201 West Broadway, in reference to a theft report. Two suspects had come into the store around 3:30 the morning before and stole four laptop computers valued at $1,200.00. The subjects were able to break the security brackets on the devices. Security footage is being reviewed to determine who the subjects are.

Early in the morning on March 15, around 12:40, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 19th Street and South Lamine Avenue. The driver in the vehicle then attempted to flee officers. Pettis County deputies assisted and then the subject exited the vehicle and fled on foot in the area of South Grand Avenue and Brentwood Drive. 28-year old Gerald Michael Durrill, of Green Ridge, was arrested for various drug charges and traffic violations. Durrill had two felony warrants out of Henry County, with a $20,000.00 bond, of cash or surety. Bond for the new charges was set at $150,000.00 cash or surety. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
