Sedalia Police Reports For April 9, 2020

Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police responded to a subject check in the 3100 block of West Broadway.  Officers determined the subject, Sergey Zykin, 20, of Sedalia, was okay, however damage to his vehicle indicated it had been involved in an accident.  Officers were able to locate evidence in the 2900 block of West Broadway where the vehicle had struck three parking lot signs before returning to the roadway.  Zykin was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage and property damage.  Zykin was issued a summons with a court date.

Wednesday evening, Officers responded to the 500 block of West Second Street for a try to contact call.  The reporting party was concerned about his juvenile son that left his residence sometime previously during that day.  The juvenile was located safe at his mother's residence.  The parties were referred to the courts for a child custody dispute.
