Sedalia Police reports 12-21-17

Sedalia Police arrested 30-year-old Scovern Cameron Norris of Sedalia for felony 3rd Degree Domestic Assault after officers were called to the 500 block of Sunset Drive around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on a domestic assault call. According to a report, two suspects assaulted each other. Both had bruising and facial swelling, and police could not determine a primary physical aggressor. In addition, a vehicle was damaged prior to the assault, the report said.The victim in the incident was uncooperative. Norris was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

On Wednesday night, Sedalia Police took 53-year-old Raymond J. Pawlikowski into custody on a charge of dogs chasing, barking and annoying others in the 100 block of Gentry.


 

On Wednesday morning, Kimberly D. Binnie reported the theft of items from her unlocked vehicle overnight in the 700 block of W. 4th. On WednesdayKathleen L. Hughes reported someone stole her license plate between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 800 block of W. 5th.


 

On Wednesday morning, Bobby D. Privitt reported that someone has been stealing his mail in the 300 block of W. 5th.


 

On Wednesday morning, Connie E. Ahnen reported a theft from an outbuilding on her property in the 500 block of Sunset Drive.


 

On Wednesday evening, Sheila R. Cornish was arrested for assault after Sedalia Police responded to a call at 601 E. 14th. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond.


 

On Wednesday just before 8 p.m., Casey's General Store, 3050 S. Limit, reported a $10.02 gas drive-off.
