Sedalia Police reports 2-6-20

Sedalia Police took a burglary report from a man who said someone entered his residence in the 600 block of E. 28th between 11 a.m. and 2:30 Monday and stole multiple firearms, food, currency and miscellaneous. The items were valued at over $8,000.


 

On Tuesday evening around 7:40 p.m., Sedalia Police were called to the 700 block of Winchester Drive on a domestic assault call. Arrested was Adan E. Snyder of Smithton. Snyder was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was charged with 3rd degree domestic assault.


 

On Tuesday around 8 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a car stop on a vehicle that failed to stop behind the white line at 3rd and Osage. The stop took place at 3rd and Moniteau. The driver, 41-year-old Virgil L. Taylor of Sedalia, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was also driving while suspended. Taylor was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Tuesday around 9:20 p.m., Sedalia Police were called to Dollar Gneral, 713 E. Broadway, on a suspicious vehicle with two men inside. Investigation revealed that the two were smoking marijuana. The driver, 40-year-old Michael J. Tackitt of Sedalia, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. The car was towed.
