Sedalia Police reports 2-7-20

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a report of a four-car crash that occurred at Broadway and Vermont at 9:54 a.m. Investigation revealed there was minor damage to three vehicles, and the vehicle that caused the wreck continued east on Broadway. There were no injuries reported.


 

On Wednesday at 11 p.m. Sedalia Police arrested 26-year-old Eli Mark of Sedalia in the 200 block of South Stewart during a civil standby. Mark was wanted on a Benton County warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at 808 E. Broadway around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. A primary aggressor could not be determined, so a 12-hour log was created. However, a duffle bag containing items believed to have been stolen from Warrenburg was located. No one would claim the bag, so it was seized for evidence.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 200 block of Scott Joplin Court and discovered that 38-year-old Mark Randyl Nelson of Pettis County was wanted on a parole violation, He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Saturday, Feb. 1, Sedalia Police stopped a car that failed to maintain its lane at South Limit and Tiger Pride Blvd. Just before 10 p.m. The officer detected the odor of intoxicants. 35-year-old Megan Evans of Pettis County was taken to the SPD, where she provided a breath sample that tested above .08 BAC. She was fingerprinted, issued a citation for DWI and released.
