Sedalia Police reports 3-4-20
Sedalia Police took a report on Monday in the 900 block of West Main involving the theft of a tool bag containing $1200 worth of tools. A suspect was identified by surveillance video and the tools were located at another residence and returned to their owner. The suspect has not yet been located.
A woman in the 100 block of W. 32nd reported on Monday that a relative stole $3,000 and a landline phone sometime over the past week. Charges are being requested.
50-year-old Gary G. Brown, Jr., of Sedalia was arrested by Sedalia Police Tuesday on a Pettis County warrant for possession of dangerous drugs. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $7,500 cash or surety bond.
On Monday, a man reported the theft of an out drive from his boat in the 1500 block of Madison. The out drive was valued at $1500.
Sedalia Police arrested George Richard Apel, III, of Sedalia in the 700 block of E. 4th on Tuesday on a Pettis County probation violation. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a total bond amount of $4,500.
